Aposto
Aposto is a new media and technology company founded in Istanbul in 2019. We publish newsletters, magazines, podcasts and social media editions, and we build the technology that delivers them.
We are based in Istanbul and work in London, New York and Paris.
The name
In Italian, a posto means everything in its place. That is how we understand a publication's job: filtering out the noise, refining information and curating the right stories; putting what happened where it belongs, and adding nothing.

We write the news from identified, verified sources. When we make a mistake, we correct it openly.

Independence
Our editorial team makes the editorial decisions. We always label sponsored content and keep it apart from editorial content.

Plurality
We give different views the same page. We do not publish hate speech, discrimination or content that violates personal rights.

The reader's time
We write every issue short enough to read and clear enough to understand. We write a headline to describe the piece, not for the click.
